Best Virtual Private Network (vpn) Services

The world has changed a lot in the last couple of decades. Instead of simply dealing with local or regional concerns, many businesses now have to think about global markets and logistics. Many companies have facilities spread out across the country or around the world, and there is one thing that all of them need: A way to maintain fast, secure and reliable communications wherever their offices are. As the popularity of the Internet grew, businesses turned to it as a means of extending their own networks. First came intranets, which are password-protected sites designed for use only by company employees. Now, many companies are creating their own VPN (virtual private network) to accommodate the needs of remote employees and distant offices.

I was also looking for VPN Server Support to expand my business, the IT team of my company configured the VPN connection but it was down time to time, facing issue to establish a VPN connection, I asked my IT team to look for someone who can provide VPN Server Support so that we can outsource this service. My IT team started hunting for a company which was based in Delhi-NCR who can provide VPN Server Support to our company.

Finally we came to know about iYogi Technical Services based in Gurgaon, this company was providing VPN Server Support since last three years. I called them and requested to provide their client list to which they were providing VPN Server Support, they faxed the details and I was surprised to see that they were providing VPN Server Support to UK, USA, Canada and Australia. I enquired about their VPN Server Support services and found the satisfactory result.

Now the only main concern was the price they charge to provide complete VPN Server Support. I discussed the deal with one of their managers and they offered us an economical deal in compare to other companies to provide the VPN Server Support. The best part of the deal was that they were ready to give VPN Server Support in Australia as I recently opened a branch in Sydney and by using VPN. I can do secured conference call, Video Conferencing and even transfer the data securely which will definitely give me a good cost cutting to compete and survive in Australian market.

If you also need VPN Server Support from iYogi Technical Services you can visit their website www.iyogibusiness.com to get the complete details about their support & services.

If they have good enough encryption on the VPN they certainly can.

If they depend on an unencrypted dedicated hardline between the banks, that's subject to physical compromise. They can encrypt a VPN to the point where it's harder to break the VPN encryption than it would be to break into a network center and tap a dedicated wire transfer line.

The best scenario would be a dedicated hardline with serious encryption on it. That gives you the physical advantages of the dedicated line and the mathematical advantages of encryption. I believe this is what many banks are doing.

Does this work like a LAN connection, I mean, if you create your own network and a friend joins, can you play, for example, Counter-Strike 1.6 in LAN?

VPN is a Remote Access, typically used by Clients of a Server, most commonly used in businesses where a computer needs to access network resources such as storage devices, printers, and other computers on a remote network, VPN speed depeasnds on the Client Computer's connection to the internet as VPN is a Virtual Tunnel that Runs over the existing internet connection.

Dial-up is also used for remote access, usually when High Speed internet is not available for remote clients.
Dial-up is also used by ISPs to allow users access to the internet over a low speed connection via POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) lines

You can either use windows remote desktop to control the other pc or a program such as realvnc http://www.realvnc.com/ With this you can install the program on both computers, making one of them the server and one the client. Then all you do is connect to the server with the client and take control of the computer screen through the client screen. This will allow you to do exactly what you want.

There is a free version which you can get http://www.realvnc.com/products/free/4.1/download.html here.

    Hope that helps,

How stuff works has a good article describing the basics of how Virtual Private Networks work. Basically you need to get yourself a router, once you have selected one you follow the directions that come with the router and set it up to share your connection to the internet with all computers in the house and then set up your computers to see each other.

It is not as difficult as it sounds, and the router directions are fairly simple.

    Good luck :-)
